Website Knowledge

See which pages link to which, and find pages that exist but nothing on the site links to — useful for auditing navigation, finding orphaned content, and confirming a migration didn't leave pages unreachable.

Where this data comes from

Website Knowledge is built entirely from crawler scans (the Scans tab). While a crawl visits your site, it records every internal link it finds. Sitemap, manual URL list, and Excel-import discovery don't produce this data — they're flat lists of URLs with no notion of "what links to what". If your project has only ever used those discovery methods, run a crawler scan first.

A sortable table of every page, showing how many other pages link to it ("linked from") and how many pages it links to ("links to"). Click a row to see the actual linking pages and linked-to pages.

Orphan Pages

Pages the Scanner knows about that have zero inbound links as of the last crawl — pages that exist but aren't reachable through your site's own navigation, and so are invisible to both users and search engines browsing normally.

If your project has never run a crawler scan, this report explains that rather than showing a misleading empty or full list.

A note on freshness

Links aren't removed the moment a page stops linking to something — they're kept as history and only reclassified once a new crawl confirms the link is really gone. If a page hasn't been recrawled recently, a link discovered a while ago will still count, even if the page has since changed. The Link Explorer and Orphan Pages report both reflect "as of the last crawl," not live, real-time link state.

From a page's own view

Open a page's row in the Pages tab and click Show relationships to see its inbound/outbound link counts inline, with a link into the full Link Explorer scoped to that page.
